A vacation in soerendonk means enjoying the Burgundian North-Brabant, with the province of Limburg and the country of Belgium at bike ride's distance. Soerendonk houses about 1600 inhabitants and is positioned in the south-east of Brabant, approximately 22 km south of the city of Eindhoven and 6 km from the Belgian border.
The village is surrounded by nature; meadows, orchards, lakes, forests and heath fields (Leenderbos, Cranendonckse bos, Strijperheide, ’t Goor, Waterschapsgebied Maarheeze). In other words, plenty of interesting areas to have a great hike or bike ride through.
The tourist information office in Budel (3km from Soerendonk) a variety of information on activities and places to visit, but you are always welcome to ask the hostess for some ideas.
Soerendonk
Soerendonk was voted “Leukste gat van Nederland” in 2007, due to its very active community which organizes many events such as a Carnaval parade and Octoberfest, among others.

Aside from cycling and hiking around the area, there are ponds to fish, many areas to bird-watch, possibilities to ride horseback, play golf, take a wagon ride or visit a playground, animal-farm or swimming pool.
